Product Description

Veson Pneumatic Actuator 120°, 135°, 180° double acting 4th Generation actuators provide rotations of 120°, 135° or 180°. The external travel stop is available as a standard in fully open position (120°, 135° or 180°) and in fully close position (0°), and it is easily and precisely adjustable of +/- 4° in both directions. Fields of application: 3 or 4 way valves, special valves for sample taking and any applications where a 120°, 135° or 180° rotation is required.

Introduction


This model is configured for three-position operation of valves , 0°-45°-90° or 0°-90°-180°. It can pause and maintain at the certain position during the valve travel.



How the actuator works


Position 1 (middle position)

Air source pressure enters port 2 and port D at the same time, air is discharged from port 4 and port C, port 2 moves as an internal piston, and port D is limited by the auxiliary piston push rod to limit the internal piston to be positioned at a predetermined intermediate position.


Position 2 (full open position)

The air source pressure enters port 2 and port C at the same time, the air is discharged from port 4 and port D, and the internal piston of port 2 continues to move.



Position 3 (full closed position)

Air source pressure enters port 4, air is discharged from port 2, and the internal piston moves to the middle direction to reach the fully closed position. 0-45-90 spring-return models are available. When the air is cut off or the air supply fails, the internal piston is forced to return to the fully closed position by the spring.
